On Saturday, September 20, 2025, University of Kentucky Men’s Basketball Champion, NBA veteran, and Change & Impact Founder Michael Kidd-Gilchrist returned to his second home of Lexington, Kentucky to host the Fourth Annual Change & Impact Bowling Blast at LexLive. The special event brought together children who stutter, their families, and speech-language pathologists from across Lexington and the surrounding region for a night designed to celebrate confidence and belonging. Michael shared his personal journey as a person who stutters, from his time at the University of Kentucky to where he is today, offering inspiration and encouragement to the young guests in attendance. The evening featured a meet-and-greet with Michael, bowling, arcade games, and plenty of fun, as new friendships were formed within a community that holds a deeply personal place in his heart.
